The reigning USL 2 (formerly PDL) champions, Foothills FC begin their formal exhibition season this coming week.

Coach Leon Hapgood and his new charges are headed to Spokane, Washington to play two games against the city’s university teams from Whitworth and Gonzaga.

Then, on Saturday April 27th, it will be old Foothills versus new when Cavalry FC hosts their U23 partners in an exhibition game at Spruce Meadows at 3pm. It will be the final dress rehearsal for the CPL team and their facility before their home opener on May 3rd to kick off the inaugural season of the Canadian Premier League in our city.

On the women’s side, Foothills WFC and their head coach Troye Flannery continue to countdown and prepare for training camp to open at the Foothills Fieldhouse on Wednesday May 1st. The full team will begin formal training together on that date and all media is invited to join us to learn about their new and returning personnel, and quest to repeat as United Women’s Soccer’s Western Conference Champions.
