Jumpstart Inclusive Playground - Research Request

If you have used or intend to use the Jumpstart Inclusive Playground located at Shouldice Park (4900 Monserrat Dr N.W.), the City of Calgary would love to have you as part of a study!

Researchers at the University of Toronto are doing a study to investigate the impact of inclusive play and playground design on children with disabilities with the objective of informing playground design guidelines for future accessible playground initiatives.  Using the Jumpstart Inclusive Playground as the research setting, the Researchers will be looking for:

  • Children with and without disabilities (8 – 17 years of age) and their parent(s)/caregiver(s) that have used the Jumpstart inclusive playground.

  • Rehabilitation and educational professionals that have used or intend to use the Jumpstart inclusive playground in their practice.
