Dare to Care
Bullying, Maltreatment, and Abuse is one of Canada's greatest threats to sport participation. Whether it’s from parents, guardians, players, or coaches, disrespectful and harmful behavior has become a growing concern in our gyms, swimming pools, courts, rinks, ski hills, and playing fields.
Dare to Care is a national award-winning bully prevention program and has worked with over 1,000,000 Canadians in developing safe and inclusive environments for kids to thrive in. There are 3 flagship programs to offer sport organizations:
1) Age-appropriate athlete workshops
2) Parent Education workshops
3) Extensive Professional Development for Coaches, Officials, Board Members, and Management. (Including support in creating clear and concise Codes of Conduct)

In the summer of 2023 Dare to Care became an official partner of the Coaches Association of Canada and their National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
What does this mean? All coaches who attend a Dare to Care workshop are now eligible to receive 2-3 professional development points to go towards maintaining their coach certification. Contact Dare to Care today and tackle bullying in your sports community.
